Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds has proven himself to be quite the football fan after he attended the FA Cup Final yesterday.
Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney took over the club in 2021 Speaking after the club’s promotion, Reynolds was lost for words.‘[People ask] “Why Wrexham?” This is why Wrexham. This happening, right now, is why.’
Asked what it means to the locals for Wrexham to return to the Football League, McElhenney added: ‘Well, I think you can hear what it means to the town.A second series of documentary Welcome to Wrexham is imminent ‘It’s a time of celebration and be welcomed into their community and be welcomed to this, it is the honour of my life.’
Reynolds and McElhenney documented their journey with the club in their Welcome to Wrexham documentary, and fans will be pleased to hear a second season is coming.
