Ryan Reynolds can't hide his emotions to Ben Foster in Wrexham tunnel after penalty heroics
County won a penalty in the seventh minute of stoppage time but 40-year-old Foster rolled back the years as he brilliantly kept out Cedwyn Scott’s strike from 12 yards.
Seconds later the final whistle was blown at the Racecourse Ground and Wrexham players piled on top of Foster as the win put the side in a great position to win the National League.Reynolds called him a ‘double handsome b******’ and fellow Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney even kissed him on the lips. The BT Sport cameras also captured a lovely exchange in the immediate aftermath of the full-time celebrations.
Reynolds: I couldn’t watch, I turned just in time to watch you [save]. Oh my God you sent ’em all home, you did!
