Ryan was joined by Rob and Paul Rudd for the celebrations
with best friend Rob McElhenney, the club was promoted to League Two after winning the National League trophy.
"I am not sure I can process what happened tonight. I am still a little speechless," Ryan told BT sport after the 3-1 win against Boreham Wood. "[People ask] 'Why Wrexham?'. This is why Wrexham. This, [what is] happening, right now, is why. Boreham Wood showed up today. They are an incredible team. They have one of the best defences in the entire league," he said."It's a time of celebration and [to[ be welcomed into their community and be welcomed to this, it is the honor of my life," added Rob, who called their top goal scorer Paul Mullin "one of the greatest footballers in the world".
The pair signed a deal with Disney+ to air a documentary on their decision to buy the club and help to turn its fortune aroundwas an 18-episode documentary that tracked "Rob and Ryan’s crash course in football club ownership and the inextricably connected fates of a team and a town counting on two actors to bring some serious hope and change to a community that could use it".The celebrity couple are also parents to eight-year-old daughters James, Inez, six, and three-year-old Betty.
