Rylan Clark's reaction to his Strictly Come Dancing replacement has been revealed after he joked that his new gig is 'career ending'. The TV and radio presenter quit the BBC One dance contest's spin-off show earlier this year ahead of the new series which began last weekend.
"The time has come for me to pass on the baton to someone else and explore what else life has for me," he said in a statement at the time. "Thank you Strictly, you will always have my heart… and dancing feet." "And it’s really hard to try to work that out while you’re doing different things. So I had to take that step back, have a minute to myself, let it breathe, and not turn on the TV and see yourself while you’re watching what everyone else is doing."
The former X Factor star added: "I've worked with Rylan in the past and he's an incredible presenter so I have got some big boots to fill but he’s really been so supportive."
