The five remaining members of S Club 7 will release a single in tribute to their late bandmate this week after his death earlier this year, marking their first release in 20 years
The song and its accompanying music video will be in tribute to their late bandmate Paul Cattermole following his tragic death in April at the age of 46.
A source told the publication: “It didn’t look like S Club were ever going to make music again but Paul’s tragic passing has brought them closer than ever. They have bonded in their grief.They continued saying that the song was written by the team of people who were “behind the majority” of their number-one singles and will celebrate Paul and the band's career.
S Club had planned and was set to embark on a reunion tour this year before Paul’s death, which Paul said he was “buzzing” about. “He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”It was announced that it would go ahead later this year without Paul or his ex-girlfriend Hannah Spearitt, who quit S Club after his death.
