Morecambe's Buttery Cafe and Deli shuts down as cost of living crisis cripples local business
The owners of a popular café, deli and takeaway business in Morecambe has closed the doors for the final time owing to the cost of living crisis.

Similarly, Natalie Laura said: “Thank you so much ladies. Your food has got me through some shifts over the road!!!”
The biggest factor, according to the ONS in skyrocketing inflation figures, was the cost of food. The highest increases were seen in the price of cereals and bread, with milk, cheese and eggs closely behind.
