Tributes have been paid to a schoolgirl who died after getting off a school bus in Northern Ireland this week
Tributes have been paid to a Co Fermanagh teenager who died following a road traffic collision earlier this week.
In a statement, the club said Caitlin was one of its finest young players who left "wonderful impressions on everyone that knew her"."It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our finest young players, Caitlin Hogg. Sadly Caitlin lost the battle for life on Thursday following her involvement in a road traffic accident on Tuesday afternoon," the statement said.
"Caitlin was a lovely girl. She was of such a gentle and unassuming character, leaving wonderful impressions with everyone she came into contact with on the field and around the club. "We, the club, extend our deepest sympathies to Caitlin’s parents, Bob and Rosemary, to her siblings, Conor, Ronan and Cara, to her grandparents John and Eileen and to the wider Breen and Hogg families.A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police can confirm that Caitlin Hogg, aged 13, has sadly died in hospital following a road traffic collision on the Moher Road in Kinawley on Tuesday, 6th December.
