The supermarket has recalled its Spanish Chorizo Ring after the presence of Listeria was found in some products.
Two food alerts have been issued over a serious infection that can be caused by consuming products contaminated with bacteria.
It comes amid another warning about Listeria monocytogenes by the Food Standards Agency and Food Standards Scotland . The agencies have warned people buying Enoki mushrooms about the possible presence of the bacteria and the risk of severe disease. If you have already consumed Enoki mushrooms, then you don't need to do anything unless you experience any of the above mentioned symptoms. The FSA advises people to contact NHS 111 or your GP if you begin experiencing symptoms and are pregnant or have a weakened immune system, as you are more vulnerable.
