'My treatment was all done by the amazing NHS we are so lucky to have.' Sarah Beeny has hit back at accusations that she received better Cancer treatment due to her celebrity status.
This week her documentary, Sarah Beeny vs Cancer hit screens, and while the response was mostly positive, she did respond to a viewer to clarify a fact.
After the film screened, one person posted on Twitter: ‘Loving #SarahBeenyVsCancer, but her being able to find a professor who is an expert, to have a whole team of researchers, etc., makes me wish everyone had those resources, support, and that level of care – and that levelling of the field is the whole point of a PUBLIC NHS.
‘Thank you Sarah for doing such an inspirational documentary, it was a hard watch at times but a wonderful outcome,’ someone else wrote.
