Scarlette Douglas to get in touch with co-star Jonnie Irwin after learning of his terminal diagnosis
A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas has been left devastated after discovering fellow star Jonnie Irwin has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Scarlette, who has been the latest star to be voted off I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! said she would be sending a message to Jonnie, who comes from the Midlands, and his family.
Father-of-three Jonnie, who comes from Leicester, told Hello! Magazine last week he has secretly been battling terminal cancer and was given six months to live two years ago, the Mirror reports. Scarlette said: “I had heard, but I didn’t realise it was terminal, which makes it sound imminent.“On A Place In The Sun we’re always in different locations and we never really get to see each other.
