A primary school has set itself an ambitious target of raising £25,000 to pay for new books and playground equipment. The St Peter's Church of England Academy in East Bridgford, part of the Aspire Multi-Academy Trust, is hoping to raise the money to benefit 270 children that go to the school.
The school is also hoping to raise more than £13,000 to redevelop its playground and provide new equipment for the pupils at the school, ranging from three years old to 11. , and a redevelopment will allow children to enjoy learning outdoors all year round.Headteacher Richard Tomlinson has been working with the St Peter’s C of E Academy Parent Teachers Friends Association and the school’s house captains on what the children would like the playground to look like.
