A £2.8m school expansion plan for a village’s primary school has been approved. Demand at Earls Barton Primary School, in Earls Barton, has increased since two developers built about 300 new homes.

Work is expected to start in February 2024 and finish a year later. It will also move and expand the school’s car park.Currently 75 children can be accepted into the school in one year group but the work could potentially see that increase to 90. About 460 pupils currently attend.
