Schools in Shropshire that run their own arrangements separately from the county council are consulting on changes to their own rules for admissions.

A consultation period for the new set of admission rules is being run from now until January 20, with the new arrangements set to come info force in 2024/25.

However, the council is co-ordinating a consultation exercise for own-admission authority schools in Shropshire, whose trustees or governing bodies are responsible for setting their admission arrangements and who wish to make changes.In summary the following own-admission authority schools have proposed the following changes:
