The family of Scotland's first minister are still alive following a communications black out in the territory, Humza Yousaf has said.He was unable to reach his parents-in-law trapped in Gaza after bombing cut telephone and internet connections on Friday.The first minister heard from them this morning, but said they had run out of water.'They are alive, thank God.
However, they have run out of clean drinking water,' said Mr Yousaf.'The UN resolution must be implemented. We need the violence to stop, and for significant amounts of aid to get through without delay.'The UN adopted a resolution calling for an immediate and sustained humanitarian truce on Friday.
