An aggressive woman got behind the counter of the Edinburgh bakery and dished out verbal abuse after pastries were sold out.

The owner of a popular Scots bakery has told how she was verbally abused by an angry customer after selling out of croissants.

Darcie claims the unidentified woman branded her a "poor business owner" who "wasn't trying hard enough" despite already working 90 hours in one week, according to Edinburgh Live. Posting on Instagram, Darcie said: "A woman let herself into my bakery today and started verbally abusing me because we'd ran out of croissants. She walked into back of house, where customers aren't allowed, with her dog and told me I wasn't trying hard enough.
