Scots couple who lost beloved aunt to MND bid to raise cash for Doddie Weir charity with epic trip in tartan Volvo
A husband and wife duo are set to race a tartan-clad Volvo estate across 4,500 miles in aid of Scots rugby legend Doddie Weir's charity.
Lucy and Stewart have chosen to support the charity in aid of Isobel MacKay, Stewart's aunt, whom the plaid-clad Volvo is named after. Bella, as she was known, was originally from the Isle of Arran and lived in Glasgow before moving to Canada. “I think it’s certainly going to be an adventure and we’re really looking forward to meeting all the other people taking part. It’s going to be a great trip for us, but the main thing is that we can raise a lot for the charity that does such great work for so many.”
