Hero first responders battled to save a Scots dad after he collapsed playing football. Peter Dunn, 63, was playing for Falkirk Foundation FFIT when he fell to the ground unconscious in the charity match against Ness FC FFIT on Friday, August 4.
A spokesperson for the Falkirk Foundation FFIT said: "Thankfully Peter is doing well and in very good spirits. It’s impossible not to feel a surge of emotion for what happened that evening. Seeing your teammate, your friend lying lifeless. Ambulance crews arrived within minutes and Peter was rushed to hospital for treatment. The club now wants to highlight the importance of being prepared and knowing what to do when someone has a cardiac arrest.
