Alan Fraser, from Glasgow, passed away on October 3, aged just 39
A Scots dad who complained of a "sore side" while on a dream honeymoon trip to Las Vegas and Mexico has died just two months after he was given a shock cancer diagnosis.
Devastated Myra, 33, a carer, said: “It doesn’t seem real, it feels like he could just walk in the door. Alan, who worked as a joiner, was in an induced coma for five days after the operation. From there, he was treated in the intensive care unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital before he passed away."They said that was the biggest funeral they’ve ever done, the biggest turnout they’ve ever seen. It was huge."
Myra said: “He was Rangers daft. We’re hoping to get a minute’s applause on Saturday against Livingston. Myra added: "Alan was like the glue of the family. They just lost their mum Karen a year ago to pancreatic cancer. She was only 53, so young as well.
