Linda Lewenhak was struck by cyclist as she left her home in Dalkeith on Sunday, July 2.
A Scots pensioner was left lying on the pavement 'black and blue' after being knocked down by a cyclist who quickly scarpered from the scene.
Linda's husband realised what was happening and came outside and attempted to get some details from the cyclist, but he refused to answer and left the scene. "My grandad got out the car and was trying to ask the man what his name was but he just said to my nana 'you're fine'. He checked his bike was fine then just cycled off.
