Glencoe mountain rescue team scoured the area on Friday and the search will resume again today
The 33-year-old, from West Yorkshire, had taken a wild camping and hiking trip to Glencoe with his beagle Bane on Saturday, February 18. But Kyle did not return home on Tuesday, February 21, and has not been in touch with friends or family.
Volunteers from GMR have now covered a vast amount of ground in the search area and will start to methodically make their way round more technical areas requiring mountaineering skills. "Thank you again for the assistance from Lochaber MRT, Police Scotland MRT, RAF Leeming MRT, SARDA Scotland and Rescue 151 your help so far has been invaluable. The search will resume tomorrow morning."
Sergeant Shaun Knox said: “Kyle was suitably clothed for walking and we believe he had a tent and other equipment with him. He may have changed his original plan to climb Buchaille Etive Mor and it is important that we find him to make sure he is safe and well.
