The 52-year-old says she learned vital skills that have contributed to her success as an entrepreneur and helped her build a self-help empire worth thousands.

A Scots mum who grew up with hippie Buddhist parents earns up to £20k a day giving self-help tips and attributes her success to her 'free range' childhood.

“When children don’t develop this skill because they are micromanaged it can cause all kinds of issues in adulthood with poor boundaries. "I now host retreats in Venice, Florence, Paris and I have an upcoming reset retreat coming up in Mexico for women in business. My events range from £100 for a ticket to £2555.00 for an in person retreat.Iona works with women in the business sector who are struggling due to a lack of self belief, helping them reconnect with ‘their true purpose’ and inner wild child so that they can ‘create more meaningful, successful lives.

“I have never followed a straight path and don’t feel anyone has to - certainly not nowadays,” she said. She added: “It felt like it was just the missing link to help me and my clients. The focus is on well-being, seeing our strengths and resilience and I knew I had that in spades. As the only breadwinner in supporting my son.
