Scots cops are hunting for a convicted sex offender as the public have been warned not to approach the man
. David McCue was due to appear at the High Court in Glasgow on March 17 to face accusations of sexual offences against a woman and young girl.
McCue failed to turn up at court and was found guilty in his absence. Officers launched a search for the 41-year-old - who is known to frequent the east end of the city - after he again failed to appear for sentencing on March 31. Police Scotland is appealing for anyone with information of his whereabouts to contact them immediately and have asked the public not to approach for their own safety. McCue is described as being 5ft 10ins with short brown hair.Detective Sergeant Michelle Rodger of the Public Protection Unit said, “I would urge this man to hand himself into police or anyone who has information relating to his whereabouts to make contact with the police.
