David Alexander, 18, passed away following an incident in the holiday resort, with friends describing him as 'one in a million'.
Tributes have been paid to a Scots teenager - described as “the kindest young man” – after he died in a tragic holiday accident.
“David was a much-loved and respected School Base Champion Award 2021 winner, who was popular with his peers and all of our teachers and support staff.A spokesperson for the college said yesterday they were “profoundly saddened” by the “awful news”. “On behalf of Golden Friendships we would like to offer our condolences to David’s family at this sad time.
Another person said: “So sorry what a beautiful boy I had the pleasure to call David my friend. RIP young man.” They said at the time: “David joined the Communication Base with the challenging diagnoses of ASD, ADHD and Tourette’s syndrome but over the years, his commitment to learning became evident when his support became less intense and he became more independent.
