Tickets are being advertised online and on Facebook
Scots are being warned of scammers who are selling tickets for the sold-out Edinburgh New Year's Eve celebrations to obtain personal details and money.
Tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable so you are unable to purchase one from anywhere other than Ticketmaster and the official site. The Met Office forecast for the three days of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebrations is currently showing low temperatures as expected at this time of year with a light breeze.
"Tickets for Edinburgh's Hogmanay are strictly nonrefundable, exchangeable or transferable and only valid if purchased from edinburghshogmanay.com and Ticketmaster."
