The Scottish Influencer Awards took place at a red carpet bash inside Glasgow 's Radisson Red hotel on the banks of the River Clyde on Sunday afternoon.
In a post on Twitter, Laura said: "Erm, I’ve just won Scottish Influencer of the Year @SCOTINFLUENCER Laura's pal and broadcast journalist Gerry Cassidy tweeted a picture of them together at the ceremony, with the caption: "Couldn’t. Be. More. Proud. Of. My. @STVLaura "STV's Polly Bartlett replied: "Congratulations! You look gorgeous"Monica Lennon MSP said: "Congratulations, Laura. We need inspiring and positive role models like you more than ever!"
