Seamus Coleman has been speaking about new Everton pair Youssef Chermiti and Jack Harrison

Everton captain Seamus Coleman has delivered his verdicts on new signings Youssef Chermiti and Jack Harrison.

The Blues boosted their attacking options by completing a season-long loan deal for Harrison just three days into the new season. Even though the winger is expected to remain sidelined until October, Sean Dyche was still happy to progress with the transfer. "Since my last notes, we have brought in another couple of new faces," the right-back wrote in programme notes in the matchday programme.

Three days before the arrival of Harrison, Chermiti joined Everton from Sporting CP for an initial £12m plus £3m add-ons. The forward joined Sporting’s Academy in 2016 and rose through the ranks, making his senior debut for the Lisbon giants in January this year in a 2-2 league derby draw at city rivals Benfica.
