Guesthouse in Alfarim, Portugal, which Jamie Dornn and wife Amelia Warner are reported to have purchasedThe actor sparked speculation he had relocated abroad with his family after he was spotted buying fruit and veg earlier this month in a tiny village an hour’s drive south of Lisbon.
Public property records show the couple purchased the property for just under £1 million last September at a public notary in the Portuguese capital. The house, formerly owned by a Spanish woman and run as a luxury country hotel, boasts six bedrooms and a large swimming pool fringed by pine forest and sand dunes.
It was not immediately clear yesterday if Jamie is planning to make his new place near the Atlantic his main family home with singer-songwriter Amelia and their three daughters. Sources said the property they purchased is no longer on a national holiday accommodation register. The intensely-private couple are understood to have given an address in south-west London, near to where Jamie was spotted working out at a gym last October, as their main residence when they did the deal on their Portuguese property.
