Emergency services will remain at the scene on the A52 for some time
has been closed in both directions after a "serious collision" on the road. Nottinghamshire Police says the incident happened at around 12.30pm on Sunday , with emergency services expected to remain at the scene for some time.
Police say the A52 has been closed in both directions between the Saxondale Island and Grantham Road. Tithby Road has also been closed to stop drivers accessing the A52.said: "Emergency services will remain at the scene for some time while we investigate this collision. I'd like to thank people for their patience as we continue to respond to this ongoing incident."site Inrix says drivers between Bingham and Radcliffe on Trent are being affected by the incident.
Nottinghamshire Police added: "Road closures are currently in place following a serious collision. Drivers are advised to avoid this area, where road closures are expected to remain for some time." Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 306 of May 7.
