Seven mite-riddled Labrador puppies were abandoned on the side of the road. The puppies showed signs of malnourishment and it is believed that they have spent their whole lives in the box.

Their rescuers believe the puppies – aged between 10 and 12 weeks old – may never have spent their entire lives in the box. The three sisters – Dandelion, Nettles, and Thistle – are around five weeks old and were handed into the Rescue and Sanctuary with two other siblings in a cardboard box, who have since died.
‘They are now unwanted pets, and due to the rise in cost of living, they are no longer a priority for many people.’
