Shaka Hislop 'conscious and embarrassed' after collapsing on live TV

"Obviously far too early to make any sort of diagnosis, but the important thing is that Shaka's conscious and we spoke to his family as well, because you imagine seeing that happen live."
The 54-year-old played 132 times, across two spells, for West Ham two from 1998 to 2002 and 2005 to 2006. Hislop played international football for Trinidad and Tobago, winning 26 caps. The former goalkeeper also had spells with Reading, Newcastle and Portsmouth, before finishing in the MLS with FC Dallas.
