These shocking images show the moment yobs set upon two young lads on a bus while other shocked travellers tried to intervene. Police have launched a probe after the incident happened on the number 16 service heading south of Edinburgh at around 7.50pm on Monday.
The witness said: "I went up to the top level of the bus, I sat down and I could tell that there were young kids sitting behind me who were drunk but it's not that unusual and I didn't think anything of it. There were two kids sitting in front of me, seated two rows back from the stairwell. "The boy in the hoodie then just started to throw punches to his head and to protect himself, the kid stood up. He was throwing punches at him to start with but then he started holding on to the railing and kicking him with force as well as throwing verbal abuse.
