Shoppers claim they have found an ‘amazing’ pair of budget straighteners that are ‘better’ than some of the high price brands.
But beauty fans are saying that a pair of £33 Revlon straighteners tops the big-name brands, saying they halve the time it takes to style frizzy locks.One customer shared her results on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group on Facebook, with one side of her hair sleek and smooth, the other showing her naturally ‘thick, frizzy’ hair, and wrote: “I’ve had GHDs, Cloudnines and nothing is a patch on these. Literally have the thickest, frizziest hair and have to keep going over and over.
Unlike traditional straighteners, these offer a dual plate design, the first of which straightens, while the second reinforces, meaning fewer passes through the hair, saving time and reducing the risk of heat damage. One shopper said: “Best straightener I've ever had. Brilliant price and halves your straightening time perfectly every time. Best thing I've bought in a long time!”
