The recall should not affect any Cosori Air Fryers purchased in the UK but it's worth double checking where it was manufactured
A popular brand of air fryers has been recalled in the US due to reports of fires and burns, the country Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The company also clarified that the recall is only for products manufactured for and sold in the U.S, Canada, and Mexico and shouldn't impact models found in Europe, Asia, and Australia. However, if you purchased a Cosori Air Fryer online, it's worth double-checking where it was manufactured in order to avoid any accidents. If you're a UK customer and have found that your product was manufactured in the US, then it is advised that you immediately stop using the air fryer and contact Cosori with a photo of the recalled product as well as details of where you purchased it.
Overall, Cosori has received 205 reports of its air fryers catching fire, burning, and melting. The kitchen appliance company, which is owned by Chinese parent company Vesync, confirmed that all of its products go through "rigorous" and routine testing in order to ensure consumer safety.
