Legendary singer Sir Rod Stewart has sadly lost his older brother Bob, with the rockstar mourning his 'best mate'.
The Maggie May singer posted on social media to share the devasting announcement with his 1.2million followers. He said: "It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky. I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months. RIP Don and Bob ‘irreplaceable buddies'."
The Celtic daft singer was the youngest of five children of Robert Stewart and Elsie Gilbart, reports The Daily Record. His two brother and two sisters were born in Scotland before the family moved south of the border to London, where Rod was born.
