A man who was found dead after going wild camping in North Yorkshire has been the subject of a heartbreaking tribute from his sister.
Adam’s sister has paid tribute to the keen kayaker and climber after his body was found in a disused mine
It is understood that Adam’s body was found in a disused mine by members of the public who have experience with exploring abandoned mines.Officers found his car in the Great Ayton area and conducted further searches to find Adam, who had visited earlier in the week to go caving.Adam, a former Sheffield College student, worked for Yorkshire Water and had previously been employed in the rail sector. He also enjoyed climbing and kayaking.
She said: ‘Thank you to everyone who shared the posts about Adam, offered to support and helped with the search. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it home and was found this evening.
