The development at High Nunton would feature nearly 45,000 solar panels with a total capacity of 49.9MW
Officials are recommending the proposal from Mr Maitland is approved when the planning applications committee meets on Wednesday.Case officer Chris McTeir’s report reveals the proposed site covers nearly 50 acres.
It is planned the development would operate for 35 years. Construction would last 36 weeks with approximately 331 HGV deliveries – an average of 10 a week.Among them are concerns over the pre-application consultation and environmental impact assessment, the impact it would have on the environment and tourism, noise and the efficiency of the panels.
