A loving son has been left disgusted after a council worker allegedly laughed as he lay flowers on his mother's grave.
"I walked to the other side where my mother's grave is and I became aware of two Glasgow City Council vans and there was some work being done. "They didn't seem to care at all. My brother showed up 10 minutes later and he saw it and thought it was disgraceful. Stephen said: "My mum wanted to be buried there with our grandparents, I wouldn't have picked that area. From mine and my family's point of view, the area suffers from neglect. The main entrance is pristine and looks perfect, there is no sign of neglect.
A Glasgow City Council spokesman said: “We are very sorry to learn the member of public was upset during their recent visit to the cemetery.
