Sophie Morgan's mother reveals her daughter apologised to her after car crash that left her paraplegic
Discussing her daughter's near-death experience and arriving at the hospital, she said: 'Sophie was in a real mess, she had an oxygen mask on her face.''There have been some dark times, when I see you struggling, of course, like any mum, you want to change that.
She added: 'When you're in the eye of the storm, you don't have time for grief, it's an indulgence.... But I really felt that my job was to step up and be there.Sophie then spoke about her mum and said that she saved her life. 'This was the beginning of your brand new life. I went home and went to bed and then I think about 3 or 4 in the morning the phone rang. It's never going to be good.'
Appearing on ITV last year, she said: 'I think people are frightened of change, they don't want it, there's a fear around it. But for me, because my change ended up giving so many positives, I sort of lean into it, I seek it out. I want life to be different and to be full of variety and excitement.
