'Sadly, despite our very best efforts, we have become another statistic of these troubled economic times'
A popular bistro-style café in Whalley has announced it has 'ceased trading' just five days before Christmas after becoming "another statistic of these troubled economic times."
The owners saids: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must announce that, as of Tuesday 20th December, Tastebuds has ceased trading. "We also want to thank you, our customers - many of whom have become good friends - for your loyalty and support since we started the business. Staff and customers alike, you have shared so much with us and, without you, nothing would have been possible.More than 200 people have responded to the post voicing their sadness and wishing the owners all the best for the future.
