'The completion of this cycle lane, along with the much awaited bridge connecting Ormeau Park and the Gasworks will open up more space in our area for people to enjoy safely'
The move will see a Department for Infrastructure ‘partner’ look at ways to improve cycle lanes along the Ravenhill Road in South and East Belfast.
“It is important that this welcomed work includes the necessary safety measures to promote active travel in our area, which is why the SDLP and I will continue to campaign for a new set of crossings at Ardenlee Avenue as part of this scheme.
