Community groups who operate near the National Cycle Network can apply for a grant to help improve or enhance the spaces along local paths or to help local wildlife.

Grants of up to £1000 are being offered to South Lanarkshire community groups to enhance local spaces.

The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.The Love Your Network grant is supported by funding from the Scottish Government and delivered by Sustrans Scotland. Local groups could get funding for a range of projects including equipment for litter picking to transform the safety and attractiveness of the local path, tools for maintenance and wildlife management tasks or workshops in wildlife identification and recording.
