The footballer has refuted claims by the the Spanish football federation president that she agreed to the kiss after Spain’s 1-0 victory over England
Mr Rubiales grabbed Ms Hermoso and kissed her on the lips during an awards ceremony following the Spain’s 1-0 victory over England Spanish footballer Jenni Hermoso says she did not consent to being kissed by Spanish football federation president Luis Rubiales after the women’s World Cup final on Sunday.
Mr Rubiales grabbed Ms Hermoso and kissed her on the lips during an awards ceremony following the team’s 1-0 victory over England.But the midfielder has denied his claims, saying: “I did not like it, but what could I do?”. Some 56 players, including all of Spain’s 23-strong World Cup-winning squad, have also signed a joint statement which pledges they will no longer play any more matches for their country until Mr Rubiales resigns .
