The 'curious teepee' will be back at The Oast House
The giant ‘winter hideaway’ tent at Spinningfields favourite The Oast House is set to return for its 10th year. The Curious Teepee, as it’s known, is being erected for the winter season, and will open next week.
Food-wise, there’s plenty to warm the cockles as the evenings draw in. It will be launching a range of ‘loaded pies’, which come both filled and topped.Options will include the chicken madras, topped with pilau mash, onion bhaji, mint raita, mango chutney and toasted almonds, a Steak and Ale, which comes with roast mushroom, roast tomato, onion ring and peppercorn sauce or a pulled pork and apple, with wholegrain mustard mash, Henderson’s gravy, piccalilli and a Bury black pudding scotch egg.
