Hundreds of people turned out to watch Samuel L Jackson and crew film around the around Bond Court and Greek Street.where other Hollywood stars, include Emilia Clark and Cobie Smulders, were spotted.Details of the show are still under wraps but Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury from the film series and will be working with the Skrulls in deep space.It is due to be released on the Disney+ platform in 2023.
Halifax's MP, Holly Lynch said:"I confess to being a massive Marvel geek and so the prospect of filming taking place here in Halifax is incredibly exciting. "It’s another chance to showcase Halifax to the world and once again demonstrate we can host massive productions like this." Marvel location manager Emma Jane Richards said: “I love it when you bring a crew and they all get involved with the local community and the local shops. I think it's just a lovely place to be.”
