A business owner attacked a woman at a bar after being refused service for being too drunk.
As officers tried to restrain the aerial and satellite engineer, neighbour Joseph Corrigan, 47, kicked a constable and gave out a verbal tirade before he was arrested.Both men also admitted a separate charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Prosecutor Jennifer Sillars said:"In response to being refused service, other witnesses attempted to intervene.The hearing was told Corrigan - who was also in attendence - had cause to be arrested by police.Other officers attempted to restrain Owens but he punched PCs Traynor and McKay to the face as well as kick PC Dearie to the elbow.He shouted for a"square go" and stated:"I'm doing you, you b******.
