A report found staff were not washing their hands after handling raw food

The environmental health team at Watford Borough Council issued four legal requirements to Max Peri Peri in Market Street, Watford, after rating its food hygiene standards 1/5.submitted a Freedom of Information request after inspectors stated the management of food safety required “major improvement” and the hygienic food handling required “improvement”.A report reveals that staff were not washing their hands after handling foods.

Credit: Street View “Separate cloths should be kept in separate areas to prevent cross contamination risks between areas.”Despite the issues found, the cleanliness and condition of facilities were found to be “very good”.
