Stephen Mulhern has revealed he is in talks to take over hosting Dancing On Ice from Phillip Schofield – with Holly Willoughby’s role on the show uncertain.
Station bosses axed him after he left This Morning and admitted to lying about a romantic relationship he’d had with a former younger colleague. Speaking to MailOnline, he said: “We are talking about it, but I promise you now that nothing is confirmed but if it happens, it will be absolutely amazing... if it doesn't, look, it doesn't.”
Her decision to quit the show came after a year from hell for the star. She was blasted by the public for reportedly skipping the queue to see the late Queen Elizabeth II lying in state in September last year and then earlier this year became embroiled in a rumoured feud with This Morning co-host Phillip before he left the show.
