Mason Greenwood will resume his career elsewhere after Man United confirmed a decision on his future earlier this week.
Al-Ettifaq head coach Steven Gerrard has dismissed rumours suggesting that the Saudi Arabian club are weighing up a move for Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood.
Both United and Greenwood agreed it would be best for him to try and rebuild his career elsewhere. He is expected to leave the club either on loan or on a permanent basis as United have not terminated his contract.Several clubs have expressed interest in signing the Reds academy graduate, almost all of whom are overseas.
Furthermore, a report by the Mail stated that two unnamed Championship clubs have 'decided against taking their interest further' after holding preliminary talks. It added that the player would prefer to stay in England to rebuild his career but a move overseas may be his only option.
