It was announced yesterday that Greenwood, 21, would leave Man United following the club's internal investigation into his conduct.

The striker's attempted rape charges from January 2022 against him were dropped in February earlier this year.

Greenwood and the club's statements surrounding his impending departure were criticised on Monday, with the player claiming he was 'cleared of all charges', when in fact they were actually dropped. "I am learning to understand my responsibilities to set a good example as a professional footballer, and I'm focused on the big responsibility of being a father, as well as a good partner.
