He had two hours to drop the excess 1.6 pounds, but his team decided it wasn’t possible.. “I’ve been professional my whole career and made weight, but my body just can’t make 130 anymore. My health has to come first.
Saturday’s fight at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, will still take place but only Conceicao is eligible to win titles. He weighed in at 129.6 pounds.
